A very good friend of mine suggested I do this. So, Linda, this is for you. This is my first post, and I am not too sure where I am going with this.
I want to connect with the larger world. I like people, believe in them, and therefore, feel that in this discovery of blogging, I will discover others out there in cyberland who can share.
I am a feelings kind of person. I enjoy even the little things like sunsets, sunrises, fresh Spring rain, the smell of freshly baking bread, sharing happiness with others, my daughter and her husband, and my love with my only grandson, almost 6 years old.
I am a reader, a scrapbooker, and a person who enjoys learning, for learning sake. I have been a member of a book club for almost 15 years now. I am a member of the Red Hat Society. I just registered for a Humanities class which begins next month.
I have dreams and aspirations, I like setting goals. I write and sent real, snail-mail letters to 9 friends every month. I sporatically journal write, and should do it more.
Before this year ends I would like to learn to transfer pictures from my camera, to my computer, successfully, and learn how to get them into e-mails or on my blog page. Until then, there will be no pictures in here.
